Dr. Elizabeth Trice Loggers, medical director of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance’s (SCCA) Supportive and Palliative Care Service, is to be commended for doing this important study which indicates that fully 62% of the Seattle Cancer Alliance’s physicians are willing to participate in the Washington Death With Dignity Act, with the balance either unwilling or undecided. This refutes anti-aid-in-dying activists’ claims during the Initiative 1000 campaign that only a few Washington physicians would support aid in dying.
