Sally McLaughlin

It has been long-time goal of End of Life Washington to have a staff person dedicated to community education and awareness. Thanks to our generous donors who understood the importance of filling this position, Sally McLaughlin started as End of Life Washington’s Community Education Director this week.

We are so excited to have Sally join us in this work. She brings both her long history as an educator and administrator and her passion for working on end-of-life issues. For the past ten years Sally has taught at the Seattle Girls’ School as well as holding the position of Dean of the Faculty. Prior to that she was an educator at Holy Names Academy, St. Monica School, and the Island School. Sally is currently volunteering for us in the capacities of Client Support Volunteer and speaker. In her quest to learn more about the end of life, she has also become a trained hospice volunteer.

Finally, this message would be incomplete without expressing our deep gratitude to the long-time chair of our Outreach Committee, Midge Levy, who has volunteered countless hours handling, organizing, and making arrangements for all of our presentations and exhibits since the formation of End of Life Washington in 2005.
