| 1. Allows doctors and other health care providers to talk with patients about treatment options under the Washington Death with Dignity Act.|| Yes|
The physician-patient relationship is a sacred relationship therefore patients and their physicians may discuss and explore all end of life treatment options. If a patient's intent is to pursue Death with Dignity, he or she is informed that the service is not provided within CHI Franciscan Health facilities or by CHI Franciscan providers.
