EvergreenHealth Monroe (formerly Valley General Hospital)'s Policies on Death with Dignity
| 1. Allows doctors and other health care providers to talk with patients about treatment options under the Washington Death with Dignity Act.|| Yes|
While the hospital does not require providers to inform patients of their available options under the Death with Dignity Act, the policy does not prohibit providers from doing so.

The restrictive policy only apply to those physicians employed at EvergreenHealth Monroe Hospital. If physicians are employed in facilities outside of the hospital compuses (i.e., Evergreen Health Primary Care Monroe, Sky River Medical Center) the restrictions do not apply.
